Whether you're on a family getaway or in Hamilton for the big rugby match, Microtel was the perfect place for us. The spacious communal lounge and kitchen provided a great gathering space for our large family, and the kids loved having their own space to play and relax. The parking was convenient and finding the hotel was a breeze. a fantastic experience for families!
My children wanted more outdoor activities and a playground for them to enjoy during our stay.

I chose Microtel Lodge because I wanted to explore Hamilton Gardens, which is centrally located close to the hotel. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the other amenities offered, including tour/ticket assistance and a TV in the common area. The close proximity to Hamilton's vibrant café and restaurant scene was a definite bonus. The kitchen adjoining the small dining area also added convenience to my stay.
Presentation of the building itself from the outside could be improved. Bare car park.

The gardens were lovely, the walkways were enjoyable, and the budget accommodation was outstanding.
The rooms were so small, it felt like sleeping in a dollhouse. Seriously, where am I supposed to hang my tiara?

Clean, Comfortable Rooms with Great Amenities: The Microtel Lodge in Hamilton offers clean, comfortable rooms with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The fresh linen, duvet, and clean towels made me feel like I was wrapped in a cozy cocoon. And the heating ensured that I stayed warm throughout the night. The Freeview digital TV provided endless entertainment options, and the free internet access kept me connected. But my favorite feature was the window that opened to the fresh air. It was like having a personal air conditioner, minus the noisy sound effects.
Limited Car Parking: One minor issue I encountered during my stay at the lodge was the limited car parking. Due to the restricted space, I had to park my car on an adjacent road.

Customer service was mind-blowing, location was jaw-dropping, with easy access to town. The place was super clean inside and out. The disability room was a godsend for my husband with double knee replacement. The TV in the room was a pleasant surprise and the hot water for showering was a bonus. Plus, free Wi-Fi, car park, and well-equipped kitchen utensils made our stay even better.

The single room at Microtel Lodge in Hamilton was cozy and perfect for a solo traveler like me. The bed was comfortable, and having my own TV was a great bonus. Plus, the free WiFi made it easy for me to stay connected.
I wish the single room had its own bathroom instead of sharing with just one other room.

Great parking! You won't have to walk a mile just to get to your car. , the staff members are really kind and would cater to your needs. the shared shower room is clean and well-maintained. You’ll have plenty of space too! the hotel’s communal lounges are spacious and cozy. You can chill out, have a coffee and hang out with fellow travelers. Not to mention, the hotel's kitchen is well equipped with all sorts of utensils, making it ideal for cooking your own meals.
The room was a bit noisy at times. You may want to consider wearing earplugs to have a good night's sleep.

The shower was decent and the staff were friendly. The convenient location was the best part - close to supermarkets and the city center, so it was easy to find places to eat and things to do. The beds were also comfortable, which was a plus.
Our stay was far from enjoyable. The rooms were incredibly small and cramped, which made it difficult to move around.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Being very close to the city centre, it was easy to access shopping, dining, and the bus depot. The room and bathroom were both very clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and there were plenty of facilities available for our use such as the kitchen and laundry.
The parking space was narrow, however it was still possible to park.
